I’m writing to confirm my appreciation for the work you have done with us both ahead of our management arrangement with the Marlborough Events Centre, and since. I have found both you and Edward have been receptive to our requests, and have provided timely and quality catering services.

 

During the transition to the Marlborough Events Centre we have operated in difficult circumstances, but you have accommodated us willingly, flexibly and with such cooperation.

 

The Master Plumbers conference was the first large event at the Marlborough Events Centre and your willingness to work across the two venues with discretion was great. They still don’t know we didn’t have a kitchen on site. Collision Repairs Association catering was fantastic and both events commented their desire to come back again.  The Natural Health Products event had some feedback on the catering which you immediately responded to, which the client really appreciated. The Environment Awards presented some challenges with delivering a previously agreed menu and you also happily provided a tasting to appease the client. I recall the client directly congratulating you on the delicious food. SPANZ was a dinner on the stage. Despite some unavoidable timing issues, the client was very happy with the meal. Grape Days brought a different challenge and the fresh food was really nicely displayed on large boards. You worked really well with us to manage the catering in a very crowded foyer.

 

The menu offerings have evolved with client requests (for both high-end and ‘lads fry up’ styles) and our clients have commended the food offering. The incorporation of dietary considerations, and ‘food as fuel’ has been really appreciated. Not to mention responding to dietary requirements (sometimes with no notice) without issue (one training session springs to mind).

 

The kitchen is always left spotless and any issues with return of equipment is managed with ease.

 

Your service team are well supervised and operate well in conjunction with our own event staff.

 

I recommend Urban Fare Wairau as commercial caterers.

We attended the Natural products association summit which was held at the Convention centre

 

I would just like to say how amazing the food was, we had a couple of staff members who attend with special dietary requirements (Gluten-free and Vegetarian) and you catered perfectly for them.

 

Everything was well presented and there was plenty of food so we all had good helpings, there was also a good variety of sweet food to a great boost in the afternoon after a long day of lectures

 

The staff were very helpful and everything was clearly labelled for the dietary requirements

 

We were so happy to be able to see you in action and what services you provided as we have our yearly meeting for the NZSCC coming up at the end of the year and we are trying to bring next year’s conference to Blenheim in 2022. We will definitely be coming to you to cater this event too

Urban Fare Catering have created absolutely delicious food for two weddings & a major birthday party for us.  Tineke & her team went beyond our expectations each time, catering by boat access in the Marlborough Sounds.

Tineke & her team organised every detail including setting up their mobile kitchen.  The menu options gave us plenty of choice. The whole operation ran seamlessly with their organisation, presentation & scrumptious food. From start to finish everything ran like clockwork. The staff are professional, friendly & super efficient.
