OUR STORY
We have extensive catering experience that spans over 20 years here in Wairau,
the Marlborough Sounds and more remote locations including Kekerengu and The
Molesworth station.
We cater exclusive intimate dinners and weddings of all sizes, however large
events and corporate catering are our specialities.
Our professional team are creative, innovative and flexible.
Corporate events and conventions are a reflection of the client’s company. We
understand the expectations of our clients and have the ability to tailor our menus
to suit their individual needs. We believe our personal, tailored service in
coordinating functions is what sets us apart from other caterers – we are easy to
work with and ensure that food is ready for service as per the often tight schedules.
Supporting locals is extremely important to us. Our Chefs have great contacts with
local producers which gives us the ability to source the best fresh ingredients
showcasing Marlborough’s abundance of produce in our delicious menus.
Urban Fare Wairau Corporate Catering has a pool of
experienced casual hospitality staff. After years of working in the industry, we
have met a number of people who are passionate about hospitality and enjoy
working with us.
We have a fleet of vehicles including a chiller van which enables us to transport
not only food but equipment and staff. We have a purpose-built, fully equipped
catering kitchen at 2D Sutherland terrace where we store our catering equipment
and have ample refrigeration including large walk-in chiller and freezer units.
We outsource any additional equipment that we may need either from Event Rent,
Hire Pool or Hire Quip.
