With over 20 years of experience catering throughout Wairau, the Marlborough Sounds, and even remote locations such as Kekerengu and the Molesworth Station, we’re proud of the relationships and memories we’ve helped create. From intimate dinners and weddings of every size to large-scale events and corporate functions, we approach every occasion with care, passion, and genuine hospitality.

At the heart of Urban Fare Wairau is our dedicated team. Our Catering Manager, Ana, brings warmth, creativity, and an eye for detail to every menu and event she touches. Working alongside her is Ash, our Operational Manager, whose calm leadership and logistical expertise ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Together with our talented chefs and committed service team, they help bring each client’s vision to life.

We understand that corporate events and conventions are an extension of your brand, and we take that responsibility seriously. Our team prides itself on being flexible, innovative, and easy to work with—tailoring menus and service to suit your needs while keeping everything on schedule, even when timelines are tight.

Supporting local is incredibly important to us. Our chefs work closely with Marlborough’s growers, farmers, and producers, sourcing the freshest ingredients to create vibrant, seasonal menus that celebrate the region’s abundance.

Over the years we’ve built a trusted pool of passionate casual hospitality staff who share our love for great food and genuine service. They’re an extension of our family, and we’re grateful to work with people who enjoy delivering memorable experiences alongside us.

To support our work, we have a fleet of vehicles—including a dedicated chiller van—for safely transporting food, equipment, and staff. Our purpose-built catering kitchen at 2D Sutherland Terrace is fully equipped with ample refrigeration, including large walk-in chiller and freezer units. When additional equipment is needed, we work with trusted local suppliers such as Event Rent, Hirepool, and HireQuip.
